Babies are unpredictable. That’s why here at Haley B. Photography, my schedule is always tailored to when baby decides to make their arrival. Even if that means I can only take a handful of sessions per month.
Isabelle’s debut earth side came a little earlier than her parents expected. Since she was so tiny, her mom and dad felt most comfortable waiting until her original due date to do her session.
Wrapped up Snug
To start Isabelle’s session, I wrapped her up snuggly in a “potato” wrap. I like doing this with babies who show up alert and not quite ready to get into nice adeep sleep.
Nine times out of ten it works like a charm.
I loved that her parents chose this cute little cow stuffy!
Not Sleepy
For babies like Isabelle, who aren’t super sleepy, this style of wrap allows me to create a gallery with a variety of different styles for parents.
We were able to create all of these sets fairly easily, without disturbing her too much.

While she was wrapped and sleeping well, we made sure to create some stunning images with this beautiful family.

After being wrapped for a while, she still wasn’t tolerating many “table poses” but we managed to snag a few.
