Can we talk about how

FAST

our babies grow??

Newborn

Let’s start off with some images of my sweet boy from his newborn session.

How stinking tiny was he! This was only 6 months ago.

It blows my mind that I feel like I’ve never gone a single day without him, while also not comprehending how in the world he is already SIX months old.

One Month

From newborn to one month the changes weren’t too drastic.

Although he was still very much “newborn” like, he was starting to lose some of the things that I consider part of the newborn stage.

The slow movements, the curled up legs, the newborn “scrunch” when I would pick him up…

Two Months

But by two months, every trace of that newborn stage had vanished! Isn’t it so wild?

Our babies go from sleepy and scrunchy newborns, to smiley and alert babies in what seems like an instant!

Three Months

Okay, now I got lucky with these you guys!

At three months old, I was so stoked that he actually let me pose him like a newborn.

Can you see how much bigger he was here compared to the pictures from his newborn session? This is only a THREE month difference ya’ll. Ugh!

Four Months

Okay now I know you guys are seeing the change throughout these images!

Really though… why is being a mama so weird? On one hand, watching our babies grow is so rewarding and such a joyous thing.

But on the other hand, isn’t it so sad? How are our babies changing before our eyes and we aren’t even realizing it without looking back on pictures?

Now, I’m not saying you need a professional milestone session EVERY month… But at the very least, you should be doing at home “sessions” with the portrait mode on your phone!

You 100% need these memories to look back on! So, take your monthly pictures on your phone, and splurge on those special milestones with a professional photo session to capture your ever changing baby.

Five Months

So far, five months has been one of my absolute

Favorite

months with this sweet boy.

He really came into his personality sometime within this month, changing from a quiet infant into a squealy and happy “big boy”; constantly “talking” to and giggling at everyone.

Six Months

HOW

has SIX months gone by since I gave birth?

My blessing of a baby boy has gone from a tiny newborn, to a happy and adventurous baby. He’s sitting on his own, crawling, laughing at his big brother, and wanting so badly to be down in the floor running around with him!

And you know what? In the blink of an eye, he will be. It’s bizarre to me how fast children grow. I don’t know what I would do without the images I’ve taken of them to look back on.

I do know, I never want to forget any part of them as they grow and constantly change.
