My Own Baby
Well before my baby was born I made the decision to do his newborn session myself.
While for some reasons I’m glad I did, for others I wish I would have hired someone else. I ended up having a cesarean and I won’t lie, it was not easy to do these images myself. I didn’t even do them all on the same day because I just physically couldn’t.
But I absolutely
LOVE
the way they came out!

If you’ve been following me for any time at all, you know that I am a total sucker for neutrals. So it isn’t surprising that I did the majority of my son’s newborn session in creams and light beige!
I love that it kept HIM as the main focus of all the images. Nothing in them to take the spotlight from my handsome boy.

Of course my absolute favorites from his session are the ones with my oldest in them with
“his baby”.
For Fun
Annnd, for a little bit of fun I added in a few composite images.
Cherished Memories
Finally, with the help of my sister, I got a couple of self portraits with him.
I will cherish these for years and years, looking back on when my last baby was a tiny baby.
